• Empire State Trail - August 9-14, 2025 

• Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) Trail - Pittsburgh, PA to Cumberland, MD - Sept 8-12, 2024

• RAGBRAI 2024 - Bike across Iowa (not hosted by Mid Atlantic Touring) - July 20 - 27, 2024

• Arizona Mixed Adventure Tour!  - 2025 event cancelled due to no participants except the organizer.  See the Jan 2024 event page for some highlights.  Likely to be scheduled again for 2026.

• 2 day bike tour at New River Trail State Park, Virginia - June 2023, April 2024, June 2024

• Pennsylvania/Maryland - Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) Bike Tour- Oct 4-8, 2023

• 4 day backpacking tour (not hosted by Mid Atlantic Touring) - Uwharrie Forest 40 mile through hike  Oct 12-15, 2023

• C&O Canal bike tour - (not hosted but some planning by Mid Atlantic Touring) Cumberland, Maryland to DC - July2023

Fees

There are currently no additional organizer fees charged for the events organized by Mid Atlantic Touring.  

Event costs include your travel expenses, accommodations, any entrance or ticket fees for locations or activities that are part of the events, your gear, food & drinks, and any other entertainment or expenses you choose during the events.   Depending on the event, we may share expenses for shuttles, vehicle rentals, shared accommodations, etc.  

Some events organized by groups other than Mid Atlantic Touring may be posted here or on the WhatsApp group for information only.  Those organizers may charge fees for registration and participation, and will be posted on their websites.  

Group Culture

Mid Atlantic Touring welcomes diversity and open mindedness, and we are respectful of each other. Joining this group and participation in any activities or events through this group constitutes your agreement with the Mid Atlantic Touring group's liability disclaimer statement, and your agreement to follow any group or event rules, requirements, and communications. Any inappropriate behavior or communications may result in removal from the event and/or the group.
